EXPRESS Single-Carrier DAS


EXPRESS single-carrier Distributed Antenna System (DAS) efficiently delivers wireless signals into buildings, campus environments, or any locations that are difficult to cover with traditional outdoor macro networks. EXPRESS is designed for cost-effective deployment, rapid commissioning and simplified management of in-building wireless service to meet the needs of a single wireless provider across multiple frequency bands.

EXPRESS is both flexible and sophisticated to support SISO as well as MIMO configurations. EXPRESS makes efficient use of building fiber – typically using just one fiber to connect a building. And like the ALLIANCE DAS system, SOLiD’s multi-carrier DAS solution, EXPRESS is durable so it can be mounted indoors or outdoors. Plus its small footprint design requires minimal space.

By greatly improving in-building RF coverage, the EXPRESS system allows service providers and enterprise locations to deliver high-quality mobile voice and data services at any site in a building or campus environment. DMS DAS Management Systems


The DMS-1200 gathers vital system information and alarm data from the DAS network and transmits via SNMP to the designated NOC facility for monitoring.

The DMS-1200 keeps downtime to a minimum and ensures your SOLiD system remains reliable. Comprehensive DAS system health checks are continually conducted and changes in status and alarm detection are reported in real-time.

Optical Fronthaul/Backhaul


SOLiD is an innovator in DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) which channelizes a single fiber strand into multiple bi-directional channels. With a single strand from the hub site, SOLiD transports the signaling and transmission over a distance span and facilitates linear add/drops from the single fiber to Small Cell site locations. The linear add/drop simultaneously handles both backhaul and fronthaul. Infinity Access, SOLiD's optical transport solution, reduces sparing costs by up to 95%, offers centralized provisioning and enables network commissioning within hours versus days.

A single fiber ring simulataneously supports 2G/3G, 4G and WiFi traffic: CPRI/OBSAI is used to support LTE traffic, Ethernet supports WiFi, and E1/T1 is used for the legacy 2G/3G network.

SOLiD's digital network solutions deliver zero jitter and packet loss and ultra-low latency, are capable of carrying GbE, SONET up to an OC-48, EPON, GPON or CPRI up to 3.07Gbps, and flexibile to support multiple topologies including point-to-point, tree-and-branch, chain, and ring. Furthermore, the architecture is inherently optimized for VoLTE and upcoming LTE-Advanced capabilities.
