With a PacketLight solution there is no need for obtaining special high cost optics or licenses in the switches or routers. Typical services used in todays campus enviorment are 10G Eth, 4/10G FC and GbE. In addition, all PacketLight CWDM and DWDM products are remotely managed via our imbedded GUI based management system that saves time and ensures peace of mind. PacketLight products are specifically designed in such a way that operation and maintenance of the WDM network infrastructure is very simple, thus no extensive knowledge in WDM operation is needed to master it.
