ADRF’S fiber distributed antenna system is a clear example of our understanding of DAS. We listened to our customers to design and build a DAS product that meets today's needs and tomorrow's challenging in-building coverage and capacity requirements.
Unparalleled Modularity and Flexibility The ADX’s single band modules and open architecture enable you to invest in only the required bands with a clear, easy upgrade path for the future. The ADX’s flexibility puts it in a category of its own. The DAS designer has unlimited possibilities for driving coverage up and system cost down.
Support for All Commercial and Public Safety Spectrum ADRF offers single band head end and remote unit modules supporting all commercial and public safety bands in the US and Canada.
Reduced Fiber Strand Count The ADX requires only a single fiber strand to interconnect the head end to a remote unit. This reduces material cost and saves time and money required for costly fusion splicing.
MIMO Support We designed the ADX to make MIMO support simple, requiring minimal additional hardware. This enables you to maximize throughput and improve overall coverage and capacity for your 4G systems.
Power We offer one watt modules for lower bands and a choice of one, two, or five watt modules for higher bands. This helps the designer achieve matched coverage footprints among the bands and ultimately a more cost effective system. We also allow support for 20 watt for lower bands and 40 watt for higher bands for our outdoor remotes via the same head end for heterogeneous environments.
Remote Access for Maintenance and Monitoring ADRF’s DAS enables monitoring and control via an easy-to-use GUI. The system components can be accessed locally or remotely with a few simple clicks. State of the art SNMP implementation enables integration of your DAS with a new or existing network operations center (NOC), as well as custom set up of automated system status notifications.
Reliability The ADX has an outstanding component and system wide reliability record, freeing you and your customer of the burden of failures and outages and minimizing the cost of ownership.
THE BOTTOM LINE The ADX is the clear choice for your indoor and outdoor coverage applications with a clear cost and performance advantage. The ADX’s output power and flexibility reduce your overall initial investment, and the reliability and ease of maintenance keep your ongoing cost to a minimum.
